As someone who regularly submits building regulations applications, I was interested to see exactly what house plans had to offer. As a one off specification the documents are perfect. The problem may come when using them constantly and the regulations get updated then a newer version would have to be purchased every time. But on a current single submission this would be great.

i received exactly what i asked for

I only downloaded a free sample of the building regs notes and they looked pretty good from what I could see. I have no doubt I will purchase the full version in the near future when I have a project next come up or possibly before hand.

Good quality service with up to date information. Working for myself this is a good secondary source of information to use and add to my existing specifications

Expensive for a 4side download. Not enough measurements , room sizes etc.

A very comprehensive specification that should cover all areas of concern as governed by various Local Authorities and Building Control regarding small scale residential building. With various methods of construction noted, while understandably not being able to make provision for the limitless variations possible, it nonetheless provides a solid basis from which specifications can be altered or added. A very helpful and worthwhile resource at reasonable cost.
