RTF-08 – External Corner Detail

This timber frame external corner detail shows the structural studs, insulation, sheathing, membranes and ventilated rendered finish. It shows the arrangement of structural studs, insulation, sheathing, membranes and the ventilated external render build-up. The drawing demonstrates how insulation and airtightness continue around the corner. It also identifies the support and finishing requirements for the external render system. This detail is suitable for Building Regulations submissions, construction packages and setting out work on site.
